Lifeguard Course


Courses are taught by Head Swimming Coach of Quincy University, Bryan Christiansen. Coach Bryan has been a certified lifeguard instructor through the Red Cross for the past six years and taught courses both at QU and at his last school, Frostburg State University in Western Maryland. Courses are designed to prepare students to become certified Lifeguards and are conducted in accordance to the Red Cross.

We offer both first-time certifications and re-certifications.

Location: Quincy University Pool in Health and Fitness Center, 1900 Oak Street, Quincy IL
**Additional deep water training will be done at Sheridan Swim Club on Sunday, April 16

Times:
April 14: 5 pm - 9 pm
April 15: 9 am - 4 pm
April 16: 9 am - 4 pm (Re-certs need only come to this date)

 

Cost: 
$150 per person
